Author Firstly, the Robert Miles – ‘Children’ sample caught my ear. I can imagine there will be those out there who will hate the fact another dance track has been hi-jacked, but I can see why he has done it. It worked for me. It caught my attention. Secondly, his lyrics actually have some merit unlike most of the pop garbage that is forced into our ears on a daily basis. It gets a 10/10 from me. There is a Calhill remix of it out as well to keep the club djs happy.

*Note* – Azelia Banks – 212: This one features samples from the Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries remix of the original track, most notably the breakdown synth part. The backing track is Knas by Steve Angello. I heard a version of the two mashed up on soundcloud but it wasn’t done the way I would have hoped. There was huge potential but my ears just didn’t think it was put together well enough for me to want to play it out. I did my own version the way I heard it in my head. All credit should really go to the original mashup guy, I just did my own version

Collection of Re-Edits & More
Here is a little collection of re-edits and remixes of older tracks that I’ve did over the years. Many of these were done for the sole purpose of being able to mix them into DJ sets. Some of the re-edits have added drums etc to help beef them up, some are just more dj friendly edits and over indulging extended versions and a few other are out-right remixes.
